Import Regulations of Foreign Governments

Import documentation requirements and other regulations imposed by foreign governments vary from country to country. As an exporter, you must be aware of the regulations that apply to your own operations and transactions. For instance, many governments require consular invoices, certificates of inspection, health certification, and various other documents.

Also, the large U.S. freight forwarding companies (and their websites) may be able to provide information on the documents you need for specific countries.
