Bahrain’s Free Trade Zone is called the Bahrain International Investment Park (BIIP) (http://www.biip.com.bh).  BIIP is managed by the Ministry of Industry and Commerce.  one hundred percent foreign-owned companies may locate their operations in BIIP.  BIIP-based companies are exempt from any corporate income tax and import duties, and they may export products to other GCC markets duty free.
