

U.S. Department of Commerce Business Development Mission to Vietnam
With a GDP of $61 billion and a young population of 84 million, Vietnam continues to enjoy healthy economic growth. Vietnam is one of the newest members of the World Trade Organization (January 11, 2007). Since the signing of the U.S.–Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement in 2001, two-way trade has increased from about $1.5 billion to $9.7 billion.
