On April 4, 2012, the U.S. Commercial Service in Romania joined the first edition of the Romanian Energy Awards Gala, organized by The Diplomat – Bucharest at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Bucharest.
The event drew a large audience with more than 150 participants from the Romanian energy sector, including the leading companies, providers and distributors of technologies, project developers, Government officials and regulatory authorities.
Keith Kirkham, the Commercial Counselor of the American Embassy in Bucharest presented the global leader General Electric with the Technology Provider of the Year Award.
