Helping U.S. companies export since 1980

"This is my first visit to the Philippines. I had five excellent meetings today; the interest and potential for business has exceeded my expectation. I am very excited I had the opportunity to come to the Philippines, the prospect for business is positive and I am already looking forward to coming back"

Essentials of Export Controls & Technology and Encryption Controls
November 18 and 19, 2014
Pittsburgh, PA

Join the Western Pennsylvania District Export Council and the Pittsburgh office of the U.S. Commercial Service for two seminars to provide in-depth training on the U.S. Export Administration Regulations. The seminars will be led by professionals from the Bureau of Industry and Security and are ideal for both companies new to exporting as well as those companies looking to refresh their understanding of export regulations and controls.

November 18, Essentials of Export Controls is a comprehensive seminar on U.S. export control requirements for commercial items as well as some military items. The seminar is ideal for exporters looking to understand and comply with the U.S. Export Administration Regulations.

November 19, Technology and Encryption Controls will build on the knowledge from Day One by focusing further on export control issues specific to software, technology, and encryption.

Please note that Day One is not specific to the technology sector and would be ideal for any company regardless of their industry sector that have items subject to the U.S. Export Administration. While Day Two is specific to the technology sector, it is strongly recommended to attend Day One unless there is already a strong working knowledge of U.S. export controls.
