The U.S. Commercial Service in Portland, along with our local international trade partners, conducts on-going conferences, seminars, and events to educate our clients and promote international trade.

You may be eligible to receive financial assistance for export training seminars through the Oregon Trade Promotion Program Grants

Celebrate Trade - Call for Nominations

Join us during Oregon's World Trade Week as we help build the next generation of international business leaders. This event recognizes private sector companies that have made a significant contribution to Oregon's standing as a leader in international trade and investment and their ability to create family wage jobs. You are invited to nominate a company or submit an application for your own company for these awards.  A designated steering committee will choose the winner for each category and the winners will be announced at a special semi-formal dinner program.

EXPORT STRATEGIES TOOLS AND TECHNIQUES

This day-long seminar provides information and resources needed to help established businesses develop an export market, supplies occasional exporters with tools to begin/expand international business, and offers current exporters a forum for discussing special issues in export business development.

*Please note all Networking Receptions for the 2014-2015 season take place at the World Trade Center, which is accessible by Max train. Parking is available under the WTC building, on the street in the surrounding blocks, and at the Smart Park garages at SW 2nd & Jefferson and SW 4th & Taylor.
