Mitch Larsen began his tour as the Deputy Senior Commercial Officer at the U.S. Embassy in Seoul in August 2012.
His previous assignments include: Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy Santiago, Chile (2007-12); Deputy Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy Baghdad (2006-07); Senior Commercial Officer for Guatemala and Honduras, U.S. Embassy Guatemala City (2003-06); Principal Commercial Officer, U.S. Consulate General Melbourne, Australia (1998-2002); and Deputy Senior Commercial Officer, U.S. Embassy Kiev, Ukraine (1996-98).
Prior to joining the Foreign Service, Mr. Larsen served as manager of the U.S. Export Assistance Center in Northern Illinois (1994-95) and as an International Trade Specialist in the U.S. Export Assistance Center of San Francisco (1989-94). He worked in the U.S. apparel sector prior to joining the U.S. Department of Commerce in 1989.
He received an MBA in International Management from Golden Gate University of San Francisco (1994) and holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Oregon State University (1987).

His depth of experience in international markets coupled with his comprehensive background in business management, strategic planning, business analysis, and project planning enhances the firm’s ability to understand and serve the needs of clients working in the built environment.
Mr. Ensor is a dual citizen of the United States and the United Kingdom and has travelled extensively around the world to over 75 countries and has lived in various locations including London, Paris, Dubai, Geneva and Washington, DC. Bringing more than 15 years of international business experience throughout Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, Mr. Ensor successfully manages the firm’s business in the Hong Kong, Beijing, Istanbul, Tripoli, Moscow, Riyadh and Abu Dhabi offices with 26 domestic offices.
Prior to joining LEO A DALY, Mr. Ensor led the international business division of a large U.S. electronic systems company serving government clients in Europe, Asia and North America. He also established the international arm of a UK based, global facilities management Software Company while serving on their board of directors and held several senior management positions in Europe and the Middle East at Steelcase, the world's largest manufacturer of office furniture. He has also worked in the pharmaceutical industry for Johnson and Johnson, in a healthcare industry consulting firm and at the US Federal Trade Commission.
Mr. Ensor holds a Juris Doctorate and a Master’s Degree in Business Administration with a focus on International Marketing Management from the American University in Washington, DC, and a Bachelor of Arts from The George Washington University in Washington, DC. In 2012 he was appointed by the U.S. Secretary of Commerce to serve on the District Export Council in Washington, DC and also serves on the advisory board of The World Affairs Council – Washington, DC.
