Ryan McManus is the global co-lead of Accenture Digital Business and the COO of Accenture Strategy—a team of 2000 strategy professionals--where he is responsible for strategic planning, investment management, thought leadership and operations. He is the author of several articles including “Who Says M&A Doesn’t Create Value,” “The Evolving Role of the Integration Manager,” “Emerging Markets Entry—Keys to Success,” “The New Competitive Reality: Product Development and Innovation in Emerging Markets,” and “Emerging Market Entry Candidates—Where to Invest in India.”
Prior to joining Accenture, Ryan was a Principal at VentureLab where he worked with entrepreneurs and inventors on international expansion strategy for disruptive technologies. He has also held global management positions in digital strategy, new business development and operations at PricewaterhouseCoopers and Arthur Andersen. A native of Chicago, Ryan lived in Paris and Amsterdam for 11 years and has worked in 40 countries. He earned his MBA from the University of Chicago Booth School of Business and lives in New York.
