Most recent market data indicate that PET FOOD sales are up 2.1% in Italy. Dry cat food and super premium dog food continue to display the best sales trends. Positive trends are also assured for snacks and smart treats, especially for nutraceuticals, snacks that are made to ensure a greater nutritional balance for animals.

PET PRODUCTS sales are up 1.5%, in particular with regard to pet-care and pet-healthcare products. Cat litters, shampoo, deodorants, brush products, pesticides, chewing and teeth products, are just some of the most successful products in the market.
