Domino's Pizza expands in West Bank

On January 9, 2014 GM Jerusalem Commercial Specialist Issa Noursi attended the opening of the third branch in the West Bank for client Domino's Pizza - the second branch to open in Ramallah. The new branch is the first ‘seated’ Domino’s restaurant in the West Bank. In addition to the two branches in Ramallah and one in Nablus, two more branches are expected to open this summer: one in Bethlehem and another in Ein Yabroud, a small town near Ramallah.

The master franchisor of Domino's Pizza is a client of Issa's and has turned to him many times for ideas and counseling.  The Palestinian company also provides pizza for the 4th July celebration in Jerusalem at the Consulate.

There is significant interest in fast food franchises in the West Bank: in addition to Domino's Pizza, both KFC and Pizza Hut are operating in the area. There are good opportunities for other fast food franchises, especially hamburger chains. Specialist Noursi is currently working with Domino's local franchisee to explore opportunities with other fast food franchises, such as Popeye’s Louisiana Kitchen and Focus Brands, which owns Schlotzsky's, Carvel, Cinnabon, Moe's Southwest Grill, and Auntie Anne's.
