Event Summary:
The PMMI East Africa Discovery Trade Mission will assist participants to grow their international business in the Eastern Africa region through a customized meeting itinerary with prospective customers and partners at the East Afripack 2014 trade show. Services/assistance requested from the U.S. Commercial Service in Nairobi if status is approved (e.g., one-on-one business appointments, site visits, interpreters, reception, hotel and transportation arrangements: o Business appointments with qualified end users of packaging and processing equipment from major consumer good companies in the region o Matchmaking appointments with qualified agents in the region o Plant visits to major CPG companies in the Nairobi area o Reception with US Ambassador in Kenya, Robert F. Godec o Presentation on Doing Business in East Africa o Presentation on Financing in East Africa o Meeting with key industry and local government officials o Logistical coordination for transportation and events o References on meeting services and Hotels
