Gold Key Service

If you are looking for help in meeting with potential business partners in Honduras, then the time-saving Gold Key Service may be just what you need. The Gold Key program is a matchmaking service that American companies can use to connect with local companies that may be interested in representing them in the Honduran market. The program can also be used to identify service providers that can help with market development.

Upon receipt of literature, a Gold Key takes between four and six weeks to organize and normally involves a senior representative of the client company traveling to Honduras to meet with all the potential Honduran companies. Generally, all meetings take place on a single day or on two consecutive days depending on the size of the market.

The Gold Key Service includes:

  • 4-6 meetings per day (research necessary to identify potential agents/distributors, contacting all potential prospects, a schedule of appointments with interested parties).
  • Services of a Commercial Specialist or trade aide to accompany the firm to appointments Market research (if available).
  • Embassy market briefing.
  • Welcome kit.
  • Hotel reservations at preferential rates (where possible).

Embassy will arrange for a car and driver and/or for a translator/interpreter at additional cost if desired. Unless prior arrangements are made, the U.S. Company is responsible for paying the service provider directly for these charges.

The pricing for a Gold key is:

Small Medium Company - SME $700.00

Large Company $2,300

SME - New to Export (using the service for the first time): $350.00
