WEEE/RoHS: Croatia

Update as of July 1, 2005

There are actions being taken in Croatia to comply with the WEEE Directive. The current law on Waste Disposal, although in compliance with the EU Directives, is very general and does not include any specific provisions for the disposal of electronic waste.

The Croatian Ministry for Environmental Protection plans to draft more specific sub-regulations on this issue by the end of 2005. The projected date for requiring company compliance with the Directive is not known as of yet.
