Did you know that the EU Cosmetics Directive (76/768/EEC) will be replaced this autumn by a new regulation aimed at ensuring a high level of protection of European consumers?

The U.S. Department of Commerce's Commercial Service office at the U.S. Mission to the EU and the Commercial Service Global Europe Team are organizing a Webinar to inform U.S. exporters in the cosmetic industry of the changes in the revised EU Cosmetics Regulation, and how to comply with the new rules.

Darren Abrahams, a lawyer with the Brussels office of Steptoe & Johnson LLP, will be the guest speaker. His practice focuses on EU regulatory requirements and related commercial issues in the environment and life sciences area. He has particular experience in chemicals including cosmetics, biocides and REACH, and publishes on these subjects regulary.
