Event Summary:
The U.S. Nuclear Industry IAEA General Conference Promotion is a unique event, taking place for the second time in 2009. As the 21rst century's global “nuclear renaissance” gains momentum, the International Trade Administration (ITA) seeks to better position U.S. industry within the International Atomic Energy Association (IAEA). The French, South Korean, Japanese, and Russian industries are already well positioned within the IAEA to influence international energy policy and nonproliferation objectives. ITA is addressing U.S. industry's under representation by hosting a national exhibition of innovations for the future of nuclear energy featuring U.S. technology, as well as a multi-company promotional reception, during the 53rd IAEA General Conference September 14 - 18, 2009, in Vienna, Austria. The General Conference attracts senior national energy officials from around the world, including all countries considering expansion of existing nuclear energy infrastructure, as well as countries considering new projects. We believe this unique initiative presents an excellent opportunity for U.S. firms to gain visibility and access to key decision makers around the world. The participation fee includes space within the U.S. exhibition for company exhibits and product literature, on-site support from U.S. government international trade specialists to facilitate meetings, and inclusion as a featured company during the invitation-only reception featuring light refreshments and senior U.S. government representation.
