How to access the inquiry point:
Currently, enquiries may be made via fax or the internet. The Division of Enquiry and Technical Assistance will fax an enquiry form to an inquirer. MOFCOM has developed a website devoted to WTO-related information, www.chinawto.gov.cn, however it is currently only available in Chinese.

Information provided by the inquiry point:
MOFCOM has indicated that the enquiry point will identify the laws, regulations or other measures that apply to the inquirer's situation and will identify the appropriate government body where further information may be found. In accordance with China's WTO commitments, MOFCOM's internal regulations require the enquiry point to respond within 30 days (45 days in special circumstances with written justification for the delay). In the first two months of operation, the enquiry point received over 200 enquiries and answered the majority of them within 15 days.
