Senior Commercial Officers Speak about opportunities in China's Second Tier Cities
Yasue Pai Shenyang
Yasue Pai, chief US Commercial Officer of Shenyang in Liaoning Province spoke about the growing opportunities in cities in her region of China such as Dalian and Harbin. Dalian has benefited from large investments from companies such as Intel and its proximity to Japan as a port city; Shenyang benefits from the governments initiative to build its infrastructure to support surrounding cities; Harbin benefits from some of the most productive soil in the world making it China's lead agricultural region. Because larger multinationals are beginning to enter into these cities, it becomes easier for small and medium sized enterprises to piggyback on these MNC's and serve the peripheral markets that these companies create.
