The seminars will discuss procurement opportunities for consultants, suppliers and contractors generated by ADB loans, grants and technical assistance. Private sector investment opportunities are also available for project developers. This year’s program also includes presentations on the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD).

The combined operations of ADB and the EBRD amount to more than $30 billion yearly. U.S. firms are encouraged to attend the seminars to understand the banks’ procurement procedures and how to access the millions in procurement opportunities available from the banks. Procurement experts from the banks and dedicated U.S. Department of Commerce officers for each bank will conduct the seminars and be available for consultations.

We will announce more details later. In the meantime, questions may be sent to:

Margaret Keshishian, Director, U.S. Commercial Service-Liaison Office to ADB, email: margaret.keshishian@trade.gov
